Hi!

by Sam Browne » Sat May 17, 2008 9:17 pm

Just though I'd say "Hi" as I've just joined this forum today. I'm mainly into my acoustic gramophones and recordings from the 1920's, 30's and 40's although my collection goes right from aound 1902 right through to the 1960's and incudes both commercial releases as well as private recordings from the 1930's and radio transcription recordings from the 30's and 40's. I guess I don't know a great deal about all of this - just what I''ve picked up as I've gone along - however I do love everything from this period. I hope to learn from all of you, and once I've settled in make some contributions to the forum.

Regards

Sam.

Hi Sam

Welcome to the board - it's always good to see a fellow member from the UK, there aren't that many of us it seems! Is this hobby dying out in the UK? I reckon so, if forums like this are anything to go by and representative of the people in this hobby in general.
