Rock ola Modei # 468 It won't stop Scanning

Hi
I have a Rock ola Modei # 468
It won't stop Scanning, When the scan switch is in the play mode the carriage just kept's on scanning and won't Stop.......
Can anybody give me any support.

I don't have a service manual handy --do you ?--Going from my great, but not too long memory, I would look at the coil sitting atop of the "pinbank".
There is a small, copper colored, "U shaped", helper spring there, that tends to break. If my memory serves me well, this causes the problem that you are having. If this is the case, and you need one, contact me off list, and we'll see if my memory can recall the "safe place" I put them in---- Ron Rich
