Looking for a Rowe R-82 Memory Unit & 64W Amplifier

by michaelolivia2000 » Sat Mar 16, 2013 5:17 am

Looking for a nice condition Rowe R-82 Memory Unit, Part #301-07855 and a 64 Watt power amp # 601-02179. Both must be in good working order and not an outrageous price. I'm trying to get an old R-82 running as a 75th B-day present for my father as he had one back in the early 1980's and i'm on a fixed income so i'm hoping I can find these for a fair price for the pair. I will buy them individually from different sellers of course also.
If no one on here has any maybe someone can direct me to a known source where I could get these. This would be much appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

If you could please go into your profile and enter your location, this would help giving you the advice of where to get parts and help to fix your R-82.

The memory unit part number is 301-07855 and the amplifier is 601-02179 & R-2179A for the european market.

What has happened to the original parts?

Regards
Alan

Thanks Alan. The originals are missing from the machine I have. I was able to get the machine for $100 with all records so I took a chance and need these parts to proceed with getting it going. The machine itself is in excellent condition just missing these two vital parts.

Mike,
Check above in "announcements--where to find--" for a list of "parts suppliers".
