Found in basement of old house. Appears to be RCA and has dog on lable. Has 2 small doors covering speeker, with place for records underneath. Some veneir has peeled off. It's dark wood. I don't know if it plays since I don't have any records. What something like this worth?

You do not give anywhere near enough info to make a guess as to value. There should be an ID plate with a model or type number on it. Is it working, can you wind it up and does the turntable revolve? Are any pieces missing? The more detail you give the more likely you will find the info you seek.
