Good morning all,

I am in the process of restoring my Seeburg 148 and would like to clean the Popularity Meter, in looking at the manual it does not (or at least the copy I have) give alot of instruction for removal.

Can the meter be removed singularly or do I have to pull the entire mechanism out of the phonograph?

Any advise is appreciated.

It's been about 40 years, since I have removed one--seems like you just start "un-screwin' " ? One thing I think I recall is that you do not want to uses too much "cleaner/water" on them, as the paint comes off easily ?? Ron Rich
