Ron, I guess the real mystery is how the mechanism hooks to that counter. I never thought much about it until this thread got started. Got my curiosity up is all.

If typical, it "don't hook". Most of these had a piece of "spring steel" attached to the round arm sticking out. Some type of pusher was then employed to push against the spring steel. Ron Rich
