Rowe R86 info

by sgtfixit » Fri Mar 01, 2013 10:26 pm

New to this forum, have searched and was hoping the "experts" could shed some light on this. I picked up a working R86 Blue Magic. Wife wants me to add an "input" jack so she can use the box as a huge stero to listen to her itunes on.

!. Has anyone done this?

2. If so...how?

Thanx...Mike (relative noob)

Mike,
There was a "Background Music kit" available for that purpose. Check with the suppliers listed above to find a used one--get the Amp # first-- Ron Rich

Hello Mike,

Dependant on the amplifier in your jukebox you will find that it has an input/output auxillary connection, to use this however you would need to remove the mute plug to the amplifier unless you use the background interface as Ron suggests.
