SEEBURG STD 160 PLAYS RANDOM

Hi,i checked this forum for equal problems like mine, but didn't found one similar.
The Std 160 plays random, never know which he will play after.
When i push the reject button to stop,he will continue to another selection.
From time to time he will play single after single, but not every time.
I cleaned all the contacts at the tormat a few days ago. After that he works great, played every single i selected.A few days later the problem was there again.
Could anybody help me to find a solution ?
Thanks in advance !
Erik

there is an RCA connector that goes from the control unit in the top of the Juke box, to the tormat unit. you may want to try replacing that with a new cable, i just did it on my juke because it was having the same issue. (at first all i did was run a new ground wire, as suggested by tony from the forum, and it did work for a while, then the problem came back) for the moment it's playing just fine.
Hope this help

Dear David,
Thanks.I will try your suggestion to replace a new cable.
But for the moment my jukebox is doing strange things...
When i make some selections, like nr 100,102,108,126 etc..,he is scanning twice ,he picks up 102,played the record, scanning again, picks up 126,playing and he stopped. So,he won't see the other selections I made.
But when i select again some numbers like 134,150,178 etc.,he scans and picked up a selection from the first input.Like the 100 he skipped before.
But,first i will try the new cable.
Thanks for the help you provided,
Erik

IF you have not replaced the electrolitc caps on the power supply cba in the digital control center you should they cause 90% of the selection problems in this jukebox series.
