Has anybody published any service data for the Wurlitzer BO/AC credit unit model 555 The Wurlitzer 3600 service manual(AMR reprint) has no data on this unit at all. The juke it came out of is a Wurlitzer 7500, the control box is labled model 3600 BO/Ac the Amp is model 553. The problem is unit won't subtract credit, stays on free play all the time. I tried the "BO/AC clear" switch on the control box--- no help tried gently cleaning contacts on pricing card then spraying dexoit on contacts and re inserted card--- no help Cleaned sockets for power and coin switch plugs that go into the BO/AC unit--- no help checked printed circuit boards for breaks and or bad solder joints--- no help. Does the Dr Know it all book cover the BO/Ac chassis? any ideas anyone? thank you. Norman

    Hi Norman,
WurliTzer, like Seeburg, tended to keep that "under wraps". Near the end, they did publish it for the distribs., and I once had a copy, but it's long gone. You might contact John at www.flippers.com, as he may still have it. Meanwhile--check that no one has added "jumpers" to pins 2, 5-7, ( I think) in either of the BO/AC plugs, or sockets.

I made a jumper plug (with guidance from Ron) for my 7500 to do just that, put mine on free play full time. The jumper plug would be on the control box, so the normal cable from the BO/AC to the control box would either be missing or simply disconnected. Mine has a red plug.
