My rowe 93 keeps losing its progamming. Does this juke have a dreaded nicad somewhere in it to save the settings. If it does where is it so I can change it out?

IF that is your problem, and it most likely is, the battery is in the Central Control Computer mounted on the back inside wall.

Be careful when pulling out the connectors -all- of these machines using that comp (about 6 years worth) had notoriously poor soldering on the boards and flexing them can result in a lot of extra "fun".

If any battery leakage has occurred be sure to clean that all up before powering again.

I had 4 of the R90-92machines in service. In my ever-so-humble opinion: Best sounding jukes ever built, poor tonearms, very reliable mechs.

The CD/45 combo put to shame the sound of the first Cd100. The biggest PIA was/is the bill validators.

UPDATE: Just replaced the battery in my R-93; I put in a holder and used a CR2032, works great. After this I checked the battery in the CD51a and it was about dead so I made the same mod to its CCC. Thanks for the advice. Now to tackle the Rockola 490 in storage.
