looking for replacement slide pot

I am working on an old (1989) guitar multi effects processor and need to find a replacement slide pot, but I can find no information about the number on the pot. It appears to be: T01820KK29149. I realize this probably isn't the forum to look for components that aren't for radios and phonographs, but some of you may have a reference manual or something that could tell me which modern components I could use. There also doesn't appear to be any public schematic for this unit. I've cleaned the pot and resoldered it, but I think the slide is just worn out.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sliding potentiometers are just a linear-travel version of rotary controls.
They have a resistance value and taper, along with physical/mounting dimensions.
You need that information in order to search out a replacement.

A "brand name" might also be of help here ??

The unit is an Art SGE Mach II. It has three slide pots on it, all the same. The pots have 4 legs to solder on to. I was going to try a mouser 10k ALPHA A slide pot (POT750) that I had laying around on it, but the height was a little larger, and it probably wouldn't fit the case. The dimensions (appx 1.5cm x 5cm) other than the height and solder spots seem the same though.

There doesn't appear to be any brand name on the pot itself. If I took it off and brought it to Rat Shack, do you think they would be able to cross reference it with one that would work?

It's not a cellphone - RS employees don't know much past cellphones these days.
Again, the value, taper, and dimensions are needed - unless you can determine those things, or unable to, have a shop perform the replacement.

I would think that you would have more luck finding the OEM, then you will at Rat Shack---Ron Rich

Well, I'm trying to contact art pro audio and see if they will be any help. Seeing as how little information and no schematics are available on the net, it would be hard to believe that they would be willing to part with these almost 25 year old schematics. We'll see.

Got a reply with a schematic. They said they actually lost the parts list but said the schematic may help. This is part of the schematic with the three slide pots, all 20k pots but not sure any other information can be gotten from this?

Most likely they're Linear pots.
