Seeburg HF100R - Cancel Button

The manuals do not go into great detail about the cancel button, what exactly does it do?
The reason I ask is that, I am troubleshooting why I can not get the unit to pickup or reject 45's but I can make selections and the pinbank is engaged and I can manually mount/play/reject a 45 but the cancel button does nothing for me at anytime. Wondering if that help lead/direct me to my core problem.

Ron,
The button on the rear of the phono is in parallel with the end of record switch (if it's plugged into the WSR).
Did you check the SC-C V-IC contacts on the mech ?

I have cleaned all of the contacts, with a wire dremel brush, no sand paper. I have also followed all of the spacing adjustments from the manual for all of the contacts on the mech and on the Receiver. I will have to double check them all again tomorrow. I have ordered a cap kit for the receiver and Amp, could this be a cap issue? I would not think so as everything else it working perfectly, just will not detect a pin has been selected and will not reject a record a when played manually and the end.

Getting so close and still having fun....

Ron,
Correct--not a "cap issue"--just a "straight 25vac circuit" -- Ron Rich
