I recently picked up my first jukebox, a Wurlitzer 3310 Americana III - 100 play model. While stocking it with records, I realized that at least half of my 7" record collection were "small hole" 45 RPMs -as are many of the new music records currenly being pressed. I was led to believe that these would either not play at all, or shift the machine into 33 RPM. While trying to decide whether to "dink" these records, some of them long out of print and irreplacable, either using a drill press or a dinking tool sold in the UK, I ended up just putting a couple in the box to see what happens. Lo and behold, they loaded and played flawlessly. For whatever it's worth, my box doesn't have the optional 33 RPM unit in it. I just wanted to put this out there in case it isn't common knowledge - Other than techniques for making those small holes big, I haven't been able to find any information on this topic.
