I own two acoustic Brunswick Panatropes. There is not a lot of info on Brunswick, but we know some basic dates. The first Panatrope Exponential types had Spanish names, for ex. Madrid, Valencia, Cortez, etc. I think they were copying Victrola's Credenza, Consolette, Granada, etc. Then about 1927 Victrola dropped the colorful names and changed them to model numbers like 8-30, 4-4, etc. That is probably the time that Brunswick dropped its Spanish-named models and went with the P-9, and other model names. So your phonograph is probably a 1927 or 1928 model, since by 1929 Brunswick went to all electronic phonographs, except for portables.
