I can't see it well enough--looks like it may be the ultra-rare, "Half-dollar" design-- ?

Yes Riley, I did assume that, since we use the term "tattered" for things that are rough.
As in:
"her dress looks tattered, I bet she's a busy hooker"

This wall box looks like the 1965 to 1965 5225A or 5225B or the 1972 to 1974 5225AL 100 selections without the speaker add on option.
The current price of just over £100 currently is still a steal for a wall box of this era.
