IMHO,( I know others will dis-agree) all brands of tubes are the same, if the numbers are the same !
Production runs, may, change the "sound" of any one tube, but not enough for the average human ear to hear.
In US made tubes ( and probably world wide made), the makers used to run many "brand label" tubes-often for a competing factory. The also often traded stock, and re-labeled tubes. I have seen many tubes that could be held up to the light, just right, and you would be able to see the original" brand markings", even though someone "scrubbed" that tube-- Ron Rich
