MY MANE IS JIM SCHNEIDER NEW TO THIS SITE I HAVE RCA SHC-4 , WHY IS MY RADIO STATIONS LOUDER THAN MY RECORD PLAYER?

Impossible to diagnose that over the internet.
Have it taken to a service tech for possible problems.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.

Records will be quieter due to being far less compressed than the radio is. And the records must be cut at lower average levels to not burn out the coils on an expensive cutting head. That is assuming your player is in correct working order.
