As noted on Phonoland's main index page, the For Sale section of this board is reserved for "Messages from visitors that have something for sale: parts, gramophones, phonographs, jukeboxes, records, needle tins, reproducers, books, leaflets, etc."
For Sale posts regarding items that are not related to the main focus of this forum--such as ads for cell-phones, sports shoes, computer equipment & related items, real estate, medications, etc.--will be considered SPAM and deleted.
Any "For Sale" items posted in the other forums will be moved to this one.
Please be sure to post a follow-on message when the item is sold.
Thanks.

I would also suggest that if you have something for sale, to please list your location and a price. No price and no location posts end up being ignored eventually. Obviously if you have a picture of the item you can upload that would be great also as a picture sells items. Photos are easy to upload on this forum.

Joe,
How do I post an ad? I'm not worried about the images yet.

Just like a regular post. Click on the FOR SALE forum, and click on "New Topic." Slug your post with a short description of what you are selling, and then provide whatever--description, photos, pricing and contact information--you want. Since you are a registered member, you can also request that those interested send you a private message.

I wanted to add that the best method of having potential customers contact you concerning your ad is to request that they send you a private message.
If, for some reason, you prefer that they contact you off this site, and wish to post any personal contact information in your ad, such as a (non-disposable) email address or personal telephone number it is best to provide them as an IMAGE. In this way, you will be less likely to fall victim to automated (spambot) email address and phone number harvesters.
