Rowe CD100 OBA-2 Control Unit Questions

I recently purchased a Rowe CD100 LaserStar Compact Disc Phonograph that is missing its OBA-2 Control Unit p/n 61038901 (page 8-20 item # 5 from field service manual & parts catalog p/n 21822611 2nd edition).

I'm having a difficult time finding this part. I did find a couple similiar parts (OBA-P's or incorrect part numbers 61038904 and the like).

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get hold of this part, or will another OBA control Unit work in my CD100?

That unit is obsolete---so is the replacement for it--
I have both it and the newer version (accepts "new" 5's) in stock.
