sorry about that, I pressed the reject and nothing happened, its wired to the TCC with two red wires which terminate on two screws that are labeled record reject.

No problem--
OK either the plug marked "Mech" or "mute" on the amp is not making good contact, or the mute relay is defective, or the contacts on the front of the mechanism are not making good contact, or are mis-adjusted. Take a quick look at the TCC (3 wire) "motor plug" too--see if the center contact is good --

Ok, I used my multi meter on the Mute plug on the amp and all 3 wires are making good contact. The 3 wire plug on the TCC is also making good. I've been hesitant to mess with the contacts since I dont want to mis adjust them myself. Im looking for the mute relay now. I'm having trouble finding it, its labeled K101 in the manual and the diagrams show it mounted to the front side , but there isnt anything mounted on mine in that spot other than the ID plate

OK--does the TES latch bar solenoid energize ? If so, remove the mute plug from the amp, and BRIEFLY short all three contacts together in the WIRED side (going to the mech) of that plug--this should energize the trip coil on the mech, if it's in play position.
The mute relay is indicated inside "dotted lines" to inform you that it is, in fact, located on the amp chassis--not necessarily on the top or bottom side. Follow the orange wire from the mute plug, and you will find the relay container. Ron Rich

ok-I shorted all 3 contacts and I could hear a clicking sound inside the AMP (sounds like inside the mute relay can), but thats all it does. The mech is in the play posistion

I hope you did not short the contacts ON the amp ? Short the ones on the plug (that hangs free--after un-plugging) to the mechanism--- Ron Rich

I did not get the photo before--yep--that is the relay as shown in "dotted" lines, which means it's underneath.
Sounds like it has a dirty contact to me--If you know how, clean it--if not, do NOT mess with it, as it is easily destroyed !!
Scanning back and forth--how many times--should only be twice !
Do you know how to check voltages in the TCC ?--If so, do so, caution, if you don't--don't do it as it IS HIGH voltage ! Ron Rich

I'll read up more on cleaning the contacts before I try it. I know how to measure the voltages but the manual I got doesnt have the test plug style of TCC it shows posts. So I cant meter it until I can get a diagram of the test plug to see what the voltages are. Im considering ordering a cap kit off ebay for, just to see if that will help if there is a voltage problem with the TCC.

You do not need the "test posts"--go inside and read the schematic--but only if you know what you are doing---.
Which "manual" are you reading ?

okay, I did a cap kit on it and nothing changed.(it just scans back and forth forever, not twice but like 15 times) BUT.... I found a broken wire that connects to one of the pins that bounces up and down as it slides across the tormat pins. After I fixed that wire it I made a selection and it immediately stopped and tried to pick up a record , but the record didnt get picked up all the way and the clamp closed and now its just sitting there spinning doing nothing. After about 10 seconds the record was slowly pushed up against the mech and started flopping around. Its like the record pickup arm isnt moving fast enough or is out of place? The reject button isnt doing anything either. I also tried to just pull the record out myself and place it into postion, but the tone arm is sitting on the outer edge of the record so its not playing anything. Not sure how to get it out of this position now?

That's about what I figured--
Do you have a copy of my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide" ? If so see the mech washing and mech lubricating pages.
Also-- your many times scanning is a result of a "sticky" plunger in the TCC--could be either one--
To remove the record, lift the detent release lever. Ron Rich

Ron, Can you look at this needle and tell me if the needle is broke? It seems like there is something missing from the middle. I have never seen a good one before since this is my first jukebox. I used your guide and cleaned it up really good and lubricated it. It picks the records up and seats them nicely now! But it doesnt play at all, seems the needles are damaged. The stylus never creaps inward though as it attempts to play, does it only do that when the amps senses it playing?

Judging from the pictures on ebay theres a peice missing out of the center of it(both sides), where is a good place to buy a replacement. I have seen them on ebay for 45 each
