M100A - Stupid Me - Control Unit

Hi All,
Re-capping my control unit and got distracted by the mailman. Can anyone look at the photo and confirm if I have the replacement cap in the correct direction? I do not want to cut the wire bundles to trace it to make sure if I do not have to. I had just cut the old cap out and the postman came to the door and by the time I got back I was not 100% sure I set it down in the correct orientation. STUPID!
Also there is a .005MF 1000V cap next to it on the strip that looks like factory but is NOT in the manual nor in the kit. Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks all, James

POLY CAPS DO ***NOT*** HAVE A POLARITY!

Since I saw the bar line on one side, I assumed that it had a polarity. Thanks for the heads up. James

James,
"Old paper"caps were, somewhat sensitive to way they were installed, in some cases--that's why they were marked with the line--newer caps are not sensitive.
I do not recognize that 2nd cap--can you shoot a larger pix, or tell me what it is connected to ?
BTW, SOME cap kits are far from correct !

The reason for the line on some of those caps was to show which lead connected to the outermost point of the foil.
In audio and some R.F.-I.F. circuits this should be connected to the chassis if used as a filter or decoupler. The idea is that foil inside acts as a shield.
There is no issue of polarity.

Hi Guys,
The unknown cap is shown in the attached photos. One side has a blue with gold tracer cotton wire heading to the solenoid of one of the contacts banks under the large removable box. The other side has two small red PVC wires one of which running to the other bank, same box, to the top of the actual switches. The other red wire is heading to the box that is riveted to the underside-side of the chassis. By the way, what is that and is it something that needs replacing?
I got the kit from A1-Jukebox along with some other stuff. So far a lot of items are not exact fits and the documentation is lacking.
I am also posting a photo of a couple of item and it is not clear exactly which ones they replace. The units have no clear marking on them as to wiring. A1 is out of town and so I am hanging....
Anyone make a better kit?
Thanks all.
