Zenith Cobra Cartridge

by Thom » Fri Aug 22, 2008 10:36 pm

I just purchased two NOS diamond Zenith Radionic cartridges of the 2mil type. They weren't cheap at $50.00 a piece but as far as I can tell these carts are extinct and this way I can keep my Cobra original. The old one is a 3mil tip and works though a little worn.

They are extinct because they were hard on both standard and microgroove records.

I understand that, but my goal is to keep this phonoghraph original when I restore it. They don't call it a compromise cartridge for nothing. :D
