Rock-Ola CD8 Bubbler C555 Error

I have a 1994 CD8 Bubbler with the black S-5 Controller. I purchased it from a friend of a friend about 10 months ago. The unit was in good condition other than the lighting and bubblers. I had no problem fixing them and the jukebox has been working great. About two weeks ago, I had it turned on while watching a movie in the same room, but was not playing any CDs. It was more as a mood light.
After the movie I went to turn it off and saw that the CD carousel was rotating continuously. I turned off the jukebox and then turned it back on. It started to go through the normal start-up and flash a series of letters (O, U, C, P, L, A, H) on the Led display. Before it finished the sequence it flashed C, 5, 5, 5 and continued to flash the same characters. I have tried cycling power several times. Sometimes it will make it all the way through the sequence, rotate the carousel one revolution and stop. After about 15 seconds it begins showing the C,5,5,5 again.
I can find no information on Error codes anywhere on the net or any manuals that I can find. Does anyone know what specifically this code means? It would seem like it is a malfunction of the S-5 controller, but I am hoping someone has seen this before.
