Seeburg AP2 Detent adjustments

I'm working on my latest find. I've always wanted a bare bones album selector and found it in an AP2. I love this machine! After a cleaning, lubing and switch adjusting, I have it functioning fairly well. I'm going thru the mechanical adjustments now to tweek it all in.

I'd like a clarification on the detent adjustments. As per the copies from the manual, I want to know which adjustment is #2, #3 & #4.
One is on the detent arm, one is on the clutch yoke lever and the other is on the detent lever. Which is 2, 3 & 4. I haven't found this clarification anywhere in the manual.

Hi Jack,
As per your drawing--the top one is 3, center is 2, and one on the left is 4--same as a jukebox--
My advise to you and all is: Do not re-adjust them-if working, no adjustment is needed, unless ( and usually not, even then), a part is changed !
Further advise--FILL, both motor cups--several times, with 20 wt. oil, ONLY !

Thanks Ron! After analyzing the next few pages of the manual I realized they were referring to the adjustments listed as clutch 2, 3 & 4.

The play motor has oil tubes and I oiled them. The scan motor didn't. But I did dribble some oil into the bushing on one end, however, the other end has an integral gearbox on it. I oiled the shaft coming out of that but couldn't get at the motor bushing on that end without removing the gearbox.

One additional question. :?: The record rack and tormat were removed for the cleaning and oiling. When I installed and adjusted the record rack, it's at the extreme left in its adjustment. The tormat is at its extreme right, but still comes a little short of the contact and wiper being centered together. I thought both adjustments should be pretty close to the center of their slots. I've read other posts about the pinion gear possibly being one tooth off. Does that seem reasonable? I did have the clutch assembly removed for cleaning and oiling.

Hi Jack,
Yes--sounds as if the pinion gear is one tooth off !
