Is there a kit available to use one of these to play an ipod?

I've seen a YouTube video of one being used with a Seeburg wall box, but as it was in French I couldn't understand it.

Thanks Ron, I'd already looked there but they don't mention a Rock-Ola 507.

Riley, Wait a week or so, and drop Ed a note--if you want to get him "riled up", mention that I told you to do it--

Next question.

I'll need a power supply for this, I've not got a manual (don't shout at me) but I have one for the 500/504 phonette wall box range, which states 25volt AC, I presume it'll be the same, so any ideas where I can get one of these?
It'll have to be 230 volt input as I'm in the UK.

Ron, I've e-mailed the firm re a kit for this, "but I kept your name out of it."

Riley,
NBD--if things were "normal" there, he would read it here--as he "lurks" fromtime to time--

Thanks Ron,

I'm in no hurry, The box hasn't arrived yet and I've had to order a transformer for it, as it's no good getting the kit until I'm sure it's working.

My Wall box has arrived, it looks almost new, the chrome is really bright with jut a couple of "pits" which might have been caused by damage rather than corrosion so I'm well pleased. The speaker grills show no sine of damage which is often the case with wall boxes situated where teenagers can "get at 'em."
It has it's coin mech, cash box and both keys! Is this a first? When I put coins in and make a selection, I can hear the selector working, so I think it's all OK.

I had a problem that none of the lights were working other than the "first digit", "second digit" and "reset."
I tried new lamps in the easily accessed two top ones for the title cards but they still didn't work.
When I finally worked out how to get at the bottom ones, I reckon they must be wired in series in pairs, top and bottom each side, as when I replaced these all four lights came on.
Job sorted, though I think I may have the wrong wattage in the top ones as they aren't so bright.
I've ordered a manual so I'll be able to check I've the right ones.

Next question.

Although I've not got this connected to anything yet, I've been checking out the coin operation.
An old 10p coin will give one credit and if I make a selection, the sequence operates OK.
However it seems rather particular about which coins it will accept and which it will reject.
But if I put more than one 10p in at the same time, I can only make one selection. I have to put another coin in after pressing three buttons to make the selection to get it to select again.
However, although I've no old 50p coins (I've a couple on order) if i flip the 50p toggle, it will give me the seven credits it is supposed to.
There are three toggles under the coin mech. The outside one does the 10p and the inside one, the 50p, the one in the middle seems to do nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello DoghouseRiley,

The central coin finger may have to operated more than once to give a credit.
Like all coin finger connections the wires can be moved aound to give you the credit required for any coin. Dependant on the type of credit unit in the wall box you will be able to alter the credit levels be it electronic or mechanical.

Thanks Alan,

I've a manual coming so I'll have a look when it arrives.

It could be that the middle toggle is for a third size of coin which might be necessary in some countries, but was blanked off for use in the UK and the switch is not connected.

Regards,

Well, perhaps it was because the "outside toggles" were fully functional, that threw me!

No reply yet from Data Sync Engineering, Guess they aren't up and running yet.

Update, I've since had an e-mail from Ann Marie, she has confirmed they are swamped with work and are trying to catch up and has kindly suggested that I'm to contact them again next week, so I'm happy with that.

My old 50p pieces that I bought on eBay have arrived and give me the seven credits as they should. I'm not bothered so much about the 10p function now.
