Hi Patrick,
The wobble plate SWITCH functions to "carry over" the read out motor if, when, a pin is pulled and the motor drive contact is in the "home position". Therefore--If adjusted correctly, at the first time a pin is moved from non, to selected state, the basket (read out ) motor should start.
Once there are no-more selected pins, the basket should come to rest at the "home position". If this is happening, the switch is "adjusted" correctly ! The coil up there serves to move the wobble plate so that the write-in "hammer" can physically push the pin, while not having to also move the wobble plate. This is on the first play only, as once any pin is "pulled", that holds the wobble plate over, thus engaging the switch.-- Ron Rich

Thank you, Ron. The wobble plate switch is working correctly. I'll turn my attention to the write-in coils, contacts, and motor oiling next time I get to work on it.
