I just bought a seeburg ay-100 ,changed tubes an a couple of fuses. My problem is the carriage assembly won't scan or move. In the scan mode all I hear is click click when I hit the switch. What am I missing or need to look for. I put some oil in the motor an the turn table moves back an forth by hand.

Bob,
IMHO, you should have asked first--before you "put some oil in it" ! The wrong type of oil, as well as just "messing with it" can cause major problems--even just plugging it in !
What you need to do, is unplug it, and leave it alone till you purchase a service manual for it (and, once again, IMHO, a copy of my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide"-as my guess is that you have a mechanism problem, at the least), and READ them prior to doing anything else-- all are available at
http://www.alwaysjukin.com and elsewhere--You also might think about subscribing the AJ--if you plan on doing your own work--or, you might want to find more info, or a "pro". To do this, check-out Tony Millers Seeburg website at

Ron I do have a service manual for my jukebox an put a few drops of machine oil in the right places. I have been going thru the manual item by item. my jukebox friend that has many years in this field is coming over later this week. I think a wire may be broken somewhere. Why would the scan switch click in the Tormat Selection unit, could a switch be stuck. Im ordering the troubleshoot manual that you recomended. Thanks Bob

Bob,
You will need to describe the problem better--as it stands now, it could be a "million" things causing the problem-- Is the motor running--the turntable turning? Where is the "click" from ? Are all plugs installed correctly ? Is the power reaching the reversing switch---bad/loose motor coupling and or, bad cap, and or motor. Is the clutch bound up?---
