Selector button popped off and will not stay pushed in keeps popping off.

If you are talking about the "plastic" push-button cover, there are three solutions to this.
1. Purchase a new one
2. Don't push that particular button
3. JB weld it onto the post-

Ron left out that should you select option 2, that you should not put a record in that slot that you want to hear!
