I am interested in ANY information available on my Brunswick Madrid model. I would like to get it in good working order but have no desire to get rid of it as it belonged to my grandmother. All parts "look" in good condition BUT when the arm seems to weigh down the record slowing the turntable to a stop. Alos, the reproducer is NOT that fancy looking Ultona thing :)

hi.this is the first time ive used this site so am hoping to get it right..i own a brunswick madrid which i bought about 15yrs ago.mine is in near perfect condition due to the fact,it spent most of ifs life covered with a blanket from new.i can forward photos to you if this would be of any help for restoration purposes.it came complete with the 6 albums, needle tin, packet of fibre needles in a plain brown cardbord pack(not sure if these are brunswick)record cleaner, also in in original brown cardboard packaging, and the original record index book for use with the albums.i have made copies of this book, which was never written in,and could forward you one if yours is missing.unfortunately, the original instruction book was missing, but would love a copy if yours is with your machine
