I know this is an old question but I don't have an answer ......
I have a Magnavox turntable
Serial NO. 42089
Part No. 523447-10
Ref. No. 6442
Model No. W604.05.03

I already took off and examined the cartridge, the needle, the arm and can't find any reference for the needle I need.
I've searched on turntableneedles.com, asked eBay sellers, I bought the one I thought was a match (Electro Voice 2624DS / Astatic N317) but if falls off after a while.

Just in case someone has the same turntable or a Magnavox catalog, I would appreciate any help.

Hey, Luigi...
That turntable took a variety of cartridges. WHAT EXACTLY IS PRINTED ON THE CARTRIDGE? Find every number you can. There may be a Magnavox and/or Electro-Voice/Astatic number on it. It sounds like the 523477-10 could possibly be the cartridge number, but I can't find it. I do have a manual covering W602 to W608, but make no mention about the cartridge/needle. I've got some cross-reference software on this computer somewhere and I'll see what I can find.
