Moving Seeburg SCD1A

I know the rule of thumb is do not lay a juke box on it's back. If the player is removed from the SCD1A I see no reason that the unit could not be laid on its back for transport. What are your thoughts?

Hello Ron

I already did that and seen this "If this can not be done --ask here, giving the brand and model number. If no answers, use "common sense"--Do NOT, tilt, or set any unit on it's side or back--even if, "runners" are provided ! " The only CD one I seen is the one that was damaged by being transported standing up!

There is no info on the SCD1A and the closest thing I seen is where you said sometimes you remove the "guts" This is my exact point, with player removed (guts) and other parts secured I see no reason that this model could not be transported on its back, seems like common sense to me.
