HMV 193

by music99 » Thu Oct 07, 2010 7:47 pm

Hi

I've got a HMV model 193 that I am interested selling. Got some damage to the top veneer but otherwise all parts in good condition. Sound quality great and comes complete with extra styles and key to cabinet. I have been trying to get an estimated value but am not having much luck. Can anyone help. I am based in the UK.

Here in Australia they sell for between $5000 to $7000, so probably whatever the exchange rate would take it to. ?Yours would be on the lower end of the scale due to the veneer damage, but the key is a plus because they are often missing. The fancy key sells for about $200 by itself, but the standard style like used by Victor are only worth 1/4 of that.
