Triacs

Hi all,

I have decided to replace the triacs in my Wurlitzer 1050 while i am working on it. My question is that i looked at the mouser website as this seems to be the the one most people reference. The cross reference sheet says i can use 3 alternative triacs as a replacement, 2 i cannot find but i can find the TIC236 but it says it is obsolete.

Does anyone know another replacement for the triacs on the 1050?

It says i can use a TIC236 or SCI46B OR A 2N6342A.

Would the link below be a replacement for the 2N6342A?

Hi Corey,
Ask the supplier for a fact sheet on both--that will tell you for sure--I THINK it's good, but I dono for sure-- I still doubt you have a Triac problem ! Ron Rich

I kinda think the same, but thought i would order them anyway even i dont install them as i may need them later. ( seems to be a common problem from reading)

Is there any key difference i should look for? Or as long as most specs are similar it will be fine.
