Going to need a great deal more info in order to help you out....... What does it do "when it doesn't feel like it"? Does the selection register? Does it do anything at all?

Kent,
Being that this phono lives in England, I would hazard to guess that when it does not "feel like" playing, it tells you to "Bloody well go to he--" At least, that's what my Grandpa always said about my (England born) Grandma, when she did not feel like "playing"--Ron Rich
P.S. sorry for the bad joke !

Hi Kent,
That was not my intent-- remember the old saying--"bring a man a fish, and he will eat tonight, teach him to fish, and he will eat every night !" Ron Rich

Hello again Simon, You can receive great help on this site. I did a TI1 some time back, and was new like you are to this. The MOST IMPORTANT thing you will find is that nobody can help without the correct info and TERMINOLOGY. You will need to get VERY familiar with the SERVICE MANUAL and understand what each part of your jukebox is CORRECTLY named. Then when you understand this you can correctly describe EXACTLY what your jukebox is doing. I am by no means any type of expert on any jukebox. But I do fully understand (now) why it is so important to be able to use the PRECISE terminology to describe what your jukebox is doing. Once you do this, you will be able to get it up and running again. By you saying " the selector just goes round and round" it is evident that you do not understand the correct terminology yet. Selectors don't go round and round. BE PATIENT AND READ YOUR SERVICE MANUAL, get familiar with it. I can tell you from my own experience that there are many "small" things that can cause issues with the TI1 and TI2.
