AMI Continental 2 question

I'm hoping someone can give me a rough ideas of what I'm into here as I'm new to this. I looked at a Continental 2 today and aside from chrome pitting, the problem is the record magazine is stuck. It doesn't look like anything is broken, it's just seized up. I'm trying to figure out if this is a big problem or not and being new to jukes, should I walk on this one? If not, I don't know what to offer. The owner is asking $2500 but is quite adamant about considering offers. I know this isn't much to go on, buy can anyone give me a clue here? Thanks.

You said it--"isn't much to go by---". Just about the same as saying your car won't start--cause it has no motor, or no transmission, or no battery, or, you have no key--Price is dependent on "condition", condition, condition". The last price guide I have is from 05, and it shows a "perfect one" at $5700 (USA).
If you have electro/mechanical skills, I'd "go for it"--but that's me--
