External Turntable and speakers?

by Torin » Mon May 19, 2014 10:05 pm

Can anyone give advice as to adding a full size turntable and connecting it to the jukebox? I have a Rockola 470 and was thinking of hooking a full size record player and putting it on a shelf next to the jukebox so it will play through the speakers. Are there hookups on the terminals to do this?

I also want to hookup external speakers to the terminals as well. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi
do you intend to use the rockola amp or an external amp for your turntable, if using an external amp it will need to match the ohms rating of the jukebox speakers, if using the rockola amp and jukebox speakers for your external turntable you will have to make a connection for the tone arm input but the amp is muted when on standby so you will have to find a way to bypass this, and this is linked to the whole sequence of the jukebox operation, i'm sure it can be done . Re external speakers if you release the back panel there are a series of connections for adding external speakers, again you have to be careful with the ohms rating of the speakers, the manual usually will give a list of different external speaker configurations

I have a small turntable amp. I will check the rating and hopefully use the jukebox speakers. Thanks for the help!
