Seeburg hf100r - CAM Switch Blades

by rvalkenburg » Tue Sep 09, 2014 10:12 pm

Looking for replacement contact blades, specifically for the CAM Switch as a few of them I can not get the spacing set properly because the contacts are all but gone.

Does anyone know where I can buy the different configuration contact blades?

Ron,
Ain't no such thing as replacement contact blades--you don't replace them, you replace the contact points--
(yea--there maybe some blades out there--but most likely not in the correct lengths, thickness, and have the correct size lifters on them) Did you use a burnishing tool on them ? I have never seen any other then the "0" contacts on that model that needed replacement, unless someone used a file, or "Dremel tool", or sandpaper, on them ? Ron Rich

Funny you say that... your good. It is Contact 0. Where can you get new contacts?

I am used to vintage 1960's pinball machines where I can get the blades as they break off from the flippers and bumpers all the time.

Ron,
Where are you able to obtain the pinball blades/contacts ? I would ASSUME that they could also supply contacts ? I make them out of old silver dimes, but sure would like to purchase them !! Ron Rich

http://www.pbresource.com/pfswitch.htm#gtbp
Look in the Common Switch Parts section towards the bottom of the page, you gace get new contacts and the blade (light, medium & heavy) to be able to make your own blades.

Or

http://www.lakesidepinballparts.com/switch.html
They have a variety of pre-configured blades with contacts that might fit some instances.

I will play around with some of my old pinball parts to fix contact 0

Hi Ron,
Thanks for the info--looks to me that maybe one or more of the "heavy" switch blades shown might work-but I find it easier just to carefully file off the old contact point, and replace it--
