ive just bought a r91 hideaway and wall box

bought as a non working machine for a project

the computer is giving error 9 which according to the manual is a coin switch fault, as im using a wall box(mhg/rainbow) there is nothing plugged into the computer's coin switch socket, would this mean there is a fault with the coin switch on the wall box, the display on the wallbox says error 1 but i can find no info on this type of wallbox

for my project the wallbox is not needed so what i am thinking is to get a hold of a r91 kepad/display and hopefully this will let me clear any error codes and use them instead ofthe wallbox stuff

Scottie,
It would be my guess, that you have the wallbox plug in the wrong socket ! I say this because I don't believe the "coin error" in a wallbox would show up on the main display--Why don't you try the following--remove the wall box plug, and see if "error 9" still displays--If still there--force a total re-boot of the computer--and see if still there--

Hi Graham,

Contact me off of line and I will try and give you advice on the MHG wallbox once the board type is known.
