I have a seeburg lpc1 from 1962. I'm not novice to doing repairs at electronic things but I am novice to jukeboxes. i liked the look of this jukebox so I picked it up, but it has problems.
Whenever I pressed the selection button and select a record it goes over and picks up the record loads it and then puts it back.It then picks up the record tries to play the b side and then puts it back. Any ideas?

Judging from what you have told me--IMHO, you have at least two problems.
Do you have the Service Manual package for the LPC, and/or my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide" ?
Your first problem appears to be mechanical--a "frozen" clutch yoke pin. This is what causes it to return the record prior to playing. The 2nd appears to be that the TMU is purposely, or improperly programmed, or that it is shorted, causing the mechanism to pick up "both sides".
Not knowing what your electro/mechanical skill level is, I can only suggest that you acquire, and read the above books prior to proceeding, as it is real easy to do further "damage". Ron Rich .
