Rock Ola 477 MAX problem with mechanism picking a single!

Hello,

I have been running Rock-Ola 477 max for a while now without any problems. I had it serviced before and the whole control board was replaced.

Now I suddenly noticed a following problem:

When mechanism picks a new single, it isn't as accurate as before. If the single gets picked up, it can drop in the middle. Not always, but for me it seems xx3 and xx4 rows are the problem parts.

I have oiled and greased the mechanism and tried to make it work more smootly - but for me it seems that the problem is not the mechanism that chooses the single, but the magazine is not properly aligned.

Is there way to calibrate it? Or do you suggest some other possible problems that would cause similar result.

So, basically I get 90% of the singles to play as they are supposed, but the xx3 and xx4 selections tend to cause problems with gripper arm being misaligned a bit... I even picks a wrong single at one location.

Thanks a lot, hopefully we can sort this out :D

Yours,

Roope Seppälä

Hi
Does the record basket return to its home position?check the plastic circular disc(just cant think of its name at the moment) on left side of record basket , sometimes it can come slight loose and it might not be slotted in right and can cause the record basket to stop just short of the home position

Hi
Just as an add on, the plastic disc is located at the encoder disc and opto assembly, there is also an indexing adjustment trim pot on the logic board that can be used to make the magazine stop sooner or later, i would say that this would affect all selections
