I have been reading the progress on the Seeburg G and the 7 year restoration! Happy the machine is now working! WOW! Seven years for restoration. The warranty was not much help. That makes me think about old age; new flashlight batteries, made today, probably have a longer shelf life than I. Best advice I ever got from Ron: Don't mess with the Seeburg clutch adjustments unless there is a specific purpose or need. Haven't touched one since and all is well!
The Seeburg V, that you all helped me with, is working fine and I am ready to see if I can move it into the room I keep most machines in. Every year these old machines gain weight (lots of weight). Thank You Ron and Rob!
I wondered if there was any information on the Seeburg replacement cartridge Vern developed? Seems like someone else was working on it and I thought a few popped up on Ebay months ago. A friend said he had tested one someone had produced with some modifications and it worked well. I have one of the first Vern did and it works very nicely. I thought I might buy one more for a spare.
