What types of cleaners do you guys recommend for removing the built up dirt and grime? Warm soapy water? 409?

Thanks,

Damp cloth--soap and water--do NOT leave cabinet wet !! Spray only onto rag--watch overspray on glass, or plastic !
Remove mechanism--remove records from it--wipe with rag--do NOT oil anywhere near the gripper ARM---wipe only with damp clean cloth. Oil ( SAE 20 wt. ND only) the gripper MOTOR--(Two large oil wicks) and the sprag motor armature, both sides (may, or may not have oil fill holes). Ron Rich

No--"3 in One" brand makes it, and is probably the EZist one to find-- Do not use their "Household/Multipurpose" type, however. Ron Rich
