Mark,
"Dragged kicking and screaming---" funny ! I used to know one of your "mates" that purchased used jukes from the company I worked for--he would buy 20-25 (all early Seeburg 100 select models) of them and spend a week in our building absolutely destroying them ! He took all of the mechanisms apart, cut/ripped the wires and packed them up--(all the time "hiding" new small parts -such as needles, inside the old mechanisms, and WSR's {"control centers"}). He also made the keyboards look like "junk"--usually by cutting wires, and throwing dirt on them. He did not take any amplifiers, nor cabinet parts, other then the coin return cups ( I once accused him of having "a thing" for coin return cups--If he's still alive, he'll remember that !

) I am not sure, but I guess the company I worked for was willing to issue him "phony invoices", for customs purposes ? I know for a fact that he did not want any "paperwork" for the new parts he purchased--he would just leave the paperwork on the parts counter--
I loved it when he came to town--we went "bar hopping" all the time---
