It's broken--do you have a Service Manual? If so, I'll try to help you fix it. Ron Rich

My first jukebox was an std160 and I finally got rid of it because of so many problems, but thats another story. I would say yours seems to be slightly off track, just a guess, but try moving the mech. around a little and see if it pops back into place, unless it is at the end of the rack, at one point I had to take the entire mech. and rack out of the box and put the thing back on its track, if you do this do it with 2 people because the thing is really heavy. like i said this is just a guess and I feel for you, for I have been through it all and no longer buy seeburgs

While it's very, very, rare that Seeburgs will "pop" off the track, they can be safely transported on their backs, IF, ALL of the shipping materials are properly installed. I have seen many units that were "on their back" that suffered no damage. But on the other hand, I have seen damage, which I can only assume was caused by laying the jukebox down--roughly? Most of the time the damage is limited to the arm that reaches under the record rack and supports the read-out sensor. I have also seen the main base casting bent, more than once. I have never seen any damage to a properly "bolted down" unit. I can remember only seeing one unit that was "off the track"--damage was extensive to the mechanism and cabinet. Ron Rich
