Hello,
After a bit of search on the google I am reaching out for help here to identify the Magnavox Stereo/phongraph/radio. It has been in my wife's family and we have now inherited it. It has sat under cover in my garage and now that we are moving it needs to go. This probably isn't the place to admit that I have zero interest in restoring vintage items of this nature, but know enough to ask the people that do. Any help would be appreciated. I cannot find a model # that fits similiar patterns as others have suggested on various other threads and the exterior doesn't match anything on google images. Since pictures say much more than words I will attach them below. I have read that Serial #'s are worthless, but here goes: SSN#16510131. FCC model # R425. Final unit # BH6366PE02.

I don't understand what "ID" is needed, but it looks like a mid/late 70's early 80's model when they "got cheap" about things.
The BSR changer is the clue.
It certainly isn't worthy of the Magnavox "heritage" they were known for earlier.

You may get a few dollars for it on Craigslist, if that's what you are looking to do, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Anyone who gets it will not be very interested in the model. These later models are not in demand as some of their earlier brethern are.

Btw, I know some folks in the Finger Lakes area near Montour Falls. Beautiful country up there.

While that changer retains the "size tap" sensing feature common among older Collaro changers, it's just a "modified" BSR as far as its quality level.
Its styling cues reek of BSR, obviously, since BSR did collaborate with Collaro in manufacturing the last changers they made.

I've had them in the shop, and saw the build quality, which appeared much like the common BSR's of the era.

I agree about the quality, but it's a whole different mechanism. I believe that Collaro continued to make record changers for a few years after BSR quit.
