Hi,I'm restoring a Seeburg j .I have got a lot of the bugs out of it but my problem now is when I select any of the 1's as in A1-B1 etc.I get nothing and when I select a 3 as in B3-C3 I get B5-C5.Would this be in the selector or the pinbank?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What happens if you select a "zero"? Try plugging the ES and the SAU together, rather than to the WSR, and see if the problem resolves itself-- Ron Rich

Ron,
The zeros played through.I plugged the Es and SAU together and there was nothing at A1 but the rest of the 1's played the 3's.B1 gave me B3,C1 gave me C3 etc.
Thanks,Homer

Hi Homer,
If I'm understanding correctly--your problem is only on the "B" sides-- ( I am guessing the A-1 not playing is the A-1 pin, or coil not operating). If so, I would examine the wiring on the "B" side of the SAU--If not shorted there, follow it up to the ES ?

Got into the pinbank and 3 of the group coil wires were just dangling,I soldered them back on and cleaned things up and it is now working.
Thanks
