HMV Magnetic Tape Model: 2202

Hi, I have a His Master's Voice Magnetic Tape Player, but i dont know how to use it. It was imported from Great Britain about 1940's or later. Cna somebody please help me. I have also got some tapes from when my dad was young and i would really like to play them without wrecking them

Is that a "reel to reel" type tape player?
I have a later Akai model,which is an upright open works model. If your's is the type I think it is, it would be in a carry case similar to a portable gramophone. I have the instructions for mine, which would basically be the same operation, and would be threaded the same way, as what I think yours is. I could scan them and send them to you if its of any help.
