Garrard AT-6 Turntable HELP!

I have aquired a Fisher Console from a family friend that has an GARRARD AT-6 Turntable. Radio works fine, turntable seems to be dead. I do have power going to the unit but the motor is not turning. Any ideas? Bad motor? Lubrication? If the motor is shot, where can I find another. The only marking on the motor is that it is "laboratory balanced". I don't see any evidence of it ever frying. Everything appears to be intact. Thank you for your help anyone.....

Does the motor spindle/stepped shaft turn when you use your fingers?
Is it free? - it should spin for a second or so once you do that.
Can you feel vibration? - does it get warm after a few minutes?

Those changers get seized up after decades and need a complete overhaul.
I'm doing one right now at the shop.

But once I'm done they run like a clock.

But Matt--my clock runs slow !-- do you want to fix that too ?

No the motor shaft doesn't turn, feels totally seized. Does that mean that the motor needs to be overhauled? Lubed? What step should I take from here?

The motor needs a complete overhaul.

Remove the 3 "C" clips and 3 washers, pop the motor out of the rubber mounts.
Buy a can of "Break-Free" and spray it onto the shaft top & bottom.
Let it soak a day or so.

Then remove the 2 nuts on one end of the motor holding the mounting plate, slip the one bearing cup off (watch the spacers don't get lost)
and carefully seperate the rotor/shaft - clean with solvent, clean the bearings, oil with light oil and re-assemble.
The motor shaft should now spin freely with the fingers.
Pop the mounts back into the rubber mounts, add the washers & "C" clips and it should work.

Otherwise, if this is too much work, send it to a servicer for overhaul.

And Ron, I do clocks too..... so there!

But Ronnie baby, I need to know what kind of clock it is - photos help - and if it's a nice heirloom type or whatever.
