New member, and my first jukebox, NSM Festival

by nagamitsu » Sat Mar 01, 2014 5:53 pm

Hi,
I had started with repair and collecting of arcade machines, and slowly building a collection there for my arcade room in basement. Wanted a jukebox to complement the arcade. My goal at some point will be to pick up a Seeburg Quadraphonic, but this NSM Festival came up locally for a good price and so I snagged it. I'll put some pictures up of it later today, as am picking it up today. I realized with the quick look at it the other day, and being my first juke (and not completely knowledgeable with them yet) that it may be missing some components/parts inside. Particular, I think the carriage system is missing. I'll get some idea of all that is missing today, and post a pic of its inside.

Well, here she is. Not bad for $100 and from what I can see, it is just missing the carriage system. Now how hard to find?

Hello Tim,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for the pictures.

It is always best to try and buy any jukebox that is complete.

The mechanism may have been removed for one of two things, either the jukebox is faulty and the mechhanism was taken to be used in another jukebox or the mechanism was faulty and was sent to somebody for repair.

You may find it hard to get a replacement mechanism in your country.
I suggest that you search for any NSM dealers or engineers.

I know that Leon Reader from www.jukeboxparts.co.uk does sell NSM used spares and he may have the correct mechanism for that model.

Regards
Alan
