Magnavox Micromatic - Please help a newbie

by sweetmusicj » Wed Jul 25, 2007 4:56 am

I inherited a Magnavox Micromatic. I don't know anything about record players, but after reading some threads on this forum I popped the back off and found the serial numbers. This is what I found.

Serial No - 88195
Part No - 523456-21
Model - 603-1802

Now this thing was running nice until my kid ripped the needle out. So basically my questions are:

A.) What can you tell me about this record player.
B.) What kind of needle do I need.
C.) Where can I get that needle?

I have pics too if needed.

Thanks so much for any info. I also inherited a buch of records too, so I'm pumped to fix this thing so I can listen to some tunes.

Thanks again,

Nathan
